Sinking Plaza Walkway Threatens Customer's Safety in Oshawa, Ontario

Plazas are everywhere. We stop at them all the time to grab a coffee, stop at the dollar store, or even go to an appointment. The walkways here see a ton of foot traffic, so keeping them safe is crucial.

A customer in Oshawa, Ontario, owns a popular plaza. Recently, he started to notice one of the walkways was cracking and sinking. He was concerned about his customer’s safety, so he called Canadian Concrete Leveling and met with Project Manager Joe McColl.

Joe showed the customer our solutions, and a date was set for the repair. Foreman Kyle McKeown started by drilling several holes in the concrete slabs. He used these to inject our high-density polyurethane, PolyLevel®, to lift the concrete and fill any voids. Lastly, Kyle used our NexusPro® sealant to close any cracks, protecting them from the weather.

The customer is thrilled that his walkway is repaired. His customers are protected and can continue to use the plaza safely.

Garage Settling in Oshawa, ON

A homeowner in Oshawa, Ontario recently installed a new car lift in their garage. As they were working, they realized there was a sizeable void under the concrete floor. The homeowner was concerned that the concrete would not be stable enough to support a lift and a car. It might cause the substrate to settle even more and possibly damage his new car.

Our Project Lead for Canadian Concrete Leveling, visited the homeowner to take a look at what was happening with the garage floor and offered a few suggestions to fix the problem. In order to keep the lift and his new car safe, he suggested our PolyLevel® Injection system. It uses polyurethane to fill gaps and voids under concrete. Billy McKeown, Foreman, drilled small dime-sized holes through the concrete and injected the polyurethane under the slabs to lift, level and stabilize the garage floor.

The customer was extremely happy that we could give him peace of mind with a permanent concrete repair for his garage in such a short time.

Sinking Concrete Slabs Lead to Water Seepage in Oshawa, Ontario

Nature takes a massive toll on our homes each year. She rips shingles off our roof, destroys paint and stain, and sometimes, makes our walkways dangerous.

A customer in Oshawa, Ontario, learned the hard way just how much nature can take a toll of concrete. The walkway around his house had settled, leading to a considerable tripping hazard. Water was also pooling along the foundation, leading to water seepage in the basement.

Concerned for his home’s well-being, the customer reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling and met with Project Manager Paul Mendell. Paul is very familiar with these types of scenarios and was able to put the customer’s worries to rest.

Foreman Bill McKeown worked hard using our PolyLevel® system to repair the concrete slabs. He used dime-sized holes to inject the high-density polyurethane beneath the slab where it expands, lifting the concrete and compressing fill soils.

The customer is delighted with the work done. His walkway and basement are protected, and with a warranty for added peace of mind.

Customer in Awe by our Polyurethane System in Keswick, Ontario

A garage is a handy space for a home. It serves an endless number of purposes, and each homeowner finds their own unique way of using this space.

A customer in Keswick, Ontario, noticed his garage floor was sinking. The client had seen cracking over the years, but up until recently, there was never an issue. His mind immediately went to the expense and hassle of replacing a garage floor.

Project Manager Joe McColl met with the customer and thoroughly inspected the garage. Joe put the homeowner's mind at ease by explaining our non-invasive PolyLevel System®. The customer was delighted to hear he didn't need to redo the entire floor and was excited to have his concrete repaired in less than a day's work.

Foreman Kyle McKeown started the repair by drilling dime-sized holes in the concrete surface. These small holes are used as injection ports for our high-density polyurethane. As the solution is installed, it expands beneath the floor to lift the concrete. This process also compresses fill soils below and fills any cavities.

The customer can barely tell we were ever there. He was able to park in the driveway later in the day. He's thrilled he saved thousands of dollars by not replacing the floor.

Pooling Water on Front Porch in Uxbridge, Ontario

Basement foundations are susceptible to water damage, so keeping water away is a great first step to ensure a dry basement.

A customer in Uxbridge, Ontario, was dealing with a front porch that was sloping towards their home. Each time it rained water would pool beside the foundation. They were concerned about water seepage and didn’t like continually having a puddle outside their home, so they reached out to Canadian Concrete Leveling.

Project Manager Joe McColl met with the customer at his home and inspected his front porch. He took measurements of the slope and settlement, and a date was set for the repair.

Foreman Bill McKeown drilled dime-sized holes throughout the front porch. He used these holes to install our PolyLevel® polyurethane system. PolyLevel® expands as it’s injected beneath concrete, compressing fill soils and lifting slabs.

The customer is thrilled that his porch no longer pools. His basement is protected, and our non-invasive method saved him the time and money of pouring new concrete.
